Over the years I've collected a healthy amount of records. Some have never been played, and many have only seen the needle once or twice. My goal is to play every record I have, giving them life again at least once. To make it easier on me, it will be done alphabetically by format then genre... Yes I have OCD with my records and they are genretized and then in alphabetical order.
If you are in a band or have a record label, I will gladly listen to any record sent to me and write about it on here. Send me a PM if you are interested.
When B9 signed this band, I was very very confused. They are an ever evolving label that consistently seems to be searching for something new to put out, and that is what I respect about them. It isn’t about what is cool right now, it is about what they like. This was a rad 7”, and I’m going to look more into this band now.
I remember when this album came out, and people were losing their shit over it. I didn’t really know who they were or cared to check it out. I was busy listening to Planet Mental. Now that I just played this, I know why everyone was hyped. This album crushes. Check it out.
This is honestly one of my favorite albums ever. There are very few albums as beautiful, angry, heavy, and moving as this. I don’t think there has been any other album that makes me clinch my fists pounding my chest, then by the end leaves me almost in tears. If you have never listened to this album, you are missing out on so much. FFO: Blood For Blood, Converge, 100 Demons
I saw these guys play once. I had tickets to see AFI with American Nightmare and Rise Against opening. Then 9/11 happened and the tour got postponed… for good reasons. So after the tour got rescheduled, American Nightmare dropped, and F-Minus and Death By Stereo were added. Not the best trade… but it happened.
It bums me out that these guys broke up. They were one of my favorite current hardcore bands. This album is a collection of their 3 7”s. I got this so that I don’t have to play each 7”, just the LP. Great investment.
When you don’t put out an album in like 8 years, you need to make sure that album fucking crushes. Bane did not disappoint. This album is amazing. I don’t know what else I can say besides just listen to it.
